Our Food Options
While Greenhillock doesn't have a restaurant on-site, we offer several fantastic food options to make your stay delicious and convenient.
Pizza Night
Take the night off cooking and join us for pizza night. You pre-select your topping box, we supply freshly made dough, sauce and cheese and a time slot. You roll out and decorate your pizzas and we fire them in our wood burning ovens. Great fun for all the family! Saturdays May-September, requires pre-booking.
Tack Store Camp Shop
Stocking camping basics, BBQ packs, ice creams, treats and most things you might have forgotten the Tack Store is open on demand during your stay. On Sundays we offer proper coffees and breakfast rolls to ease you into the day.
Field Kitchen
We provide a communal cooking and eating area, perfect for if the weather doesn't play ball. Guests are welcome to use the fridge, freezer and gas stove and light the log burning stove if it gets chilly. Phone charging is also available here. Adjacent is the washing up area supplying hot water from a gas boiler.
The Field Kitchen
Our communal Field Kitchen is the heart of the campsite, providing a sheltered space to prepare and enjoy your meals. It's equipped with:
- Fridge and freezer for food storage
- Gas stove
- Washing up facilities with hot water
- Communal dining tables
- Phone charging points
The Field Kitchen is also a great place to meet other campers and share tips about the local area.
Campfire Cooking
One of the joys of staying at Greenhillock is cooking over an open fire. We sell sustainably sourced firewood, kindling, and charcoal on-site. Don't forget to bring your favorite campfire recipes!
Breakfast
Start your day with bacon and eggs cooked over the campfire, or try campfire pancakes for a sweet treat.
Lunch
Keep it simple with grilled sandwiches or jacket potatoes wrapped in foil and cooked in the embers.
Dinner
Try a one-pot stew, grilled fish, or the classic campfire favorite - s'mores for dessert!
