We are so pleased to bring you our first life drawing festival, ATYN's Wild Retreat, which has been a dream of ours for a long time. We look forward to spending the weekend with you and creating what we hope will be some really special artwork. You'll be spoilt for choice of models and will be working alongside (or with) some brilliant professional artists and illustrators, who are also hosting masterclasses onsite - all in the beautiful setting of our meadows.
This festival will be small and inclusive. Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Access to the campsite is included with the 3 day pass, so you can choose to stay for the whole 3 days and 2 nights, and attend as many or as few workshops as you like. Alternatively, you can buy a day pass and drop in for the sessions that interest you the most. Please note camping is included in the ticket price but not tents and equipment, please ensure you bring adequate camp gear to be warm and comfortable.
You needn't have any experience with drawing or art to attend. ATYN will provide easels and drawing boards, plus there will be a materials store onsite. Come along and join in, just for the fun of it, or spend some quality time creating your best work, away from your desk or your studio. An exhibition of work created at the retreat is planned in December this year.
Greenhillock Glamping will be serving delicious cocktails and craft beer as well as freshly brewed coffee from our café bar, Polyanna. Foodwise there will be breakfast rolls and lunchtime paninis on offer during the day. Of an evening Stig and his team of merry BBQers will fire up the coals and offer you a selection of locally reared burgers and sausages, veggie and vegan options also available. Food will be on sale throughout the event but please feel free to bring your own meals and snacks if you prefer.

A wonderful time with our two boys aged 5 and 3! Great facilities, a warm welcome plus the added bonus of a firepit. Definitely recommend this as a great family site

This is a wonderfully tranquil place, safe for dogs and children with nothing but nature - the wild flower meadow is stunning. We were sorry to leave and will definitely be back

Lovely, great natural space for kids and big kids. Campfire, pond and den building. Thumbs up. Looking forward to coming back.

I started telling friends about it before I arrived and will carry on telling them when I get back with photos!
